Job Description:

This is a new opportunity for a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer with one of the world’s top-tier Semiconductor companies, based in Edinburgh.

Reporting to the Senior Analog Design Manager, the Analog IC Design Engineer will:

1. Work on analog front-end design for power line communications, including the design of amplifiers, line drivers, audio, and power management.
2. Take responsibility for the specification, design, verification, and validation of complex analog and mixed-signal blocks and systems in deep sub-micron CMOS technologies across various application areas.
3. Lead technical design efforts and mentor less experienced team members.
4. Generate intellectual property and contribute to architectural and circuit improvements in various areas.

Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a BSc, MSc, or PhD in Electronics or a related field.
• Has extensive experience in analog and mixed-signal IC design, preferably in advanced CMOS technologies.
• Has experience in any of the following areas:
• Amplifiers (LNAs, OTAs, PGAs)
• Embedded power management
