Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in anaesthesia.
• Completed Stage 1 Anaesthetic Training.
• Seeking Stage 2 competencies prior to joining or re-joining a formal training programme.
• Portfolio Pathway eligibility within on-site specialties.
• Mentorship and opportunities within a consultant-led department.

Responsibilities

• Join a consultant-led department alongside doctors in training from a range of grades.
• Receive a dedicated consultant mentor and benefit from training opportunities in a well-established Anaesthesia Department.
• Participate in audit and contribute to quality improvement efforts.
• Be part of a three-tier on-call rota covering theatres and obstetric services; support junior colleagues during emergencies.
