Job description

Senior Amazon Account Manager (Maternity Cover, minimum 12 months)

Patrick Murray and 3Search are working with a high-growth health and wellness brand to recruit a Senior Amazon Account Manager.

  • Location & Working Model: London / Brighton | Hybrid Working (2-3 Days Per Week)
  • Key Role Feature: Ownership of a seven-figure Amazon business with significant growth potential

Due to a maternity cover requirement, our client is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Amazon Account Manager to take ownership of one of its most important growth channels. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a purpose-led consumer brand with a loyal customer base and strong momentum across ecommerce. Initially offered as a 12-month contract, there is potential for the position to extend to 15 or even 18 months - but it's a 12 month contract minimum.

Our client is a premium consumer brand with a strong reputation for quality, innovation and customer trust. Amazon has already become a significant revenue channel for the business, with substantial opportunities for future growth. The Senior Amazon Account Manager will play a pivotal role in driving commercial performance, improving profitability and identifying new opportunities to accelerate channel growth.

The Senior Amazon Account Manager will take end-to-end ownership of the Amazon business, spanning advertising, forecasting, retail operations, catalogue management, conversion optimisation and commercial performance. Working closely with agency and internal stakeholders, the Senior Amazon Account Manager will ensure the channel continues to scale while delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

The Senior Amazon Account Manager will:
  • Own the day-to-day commercial performance of the Amazon channel, delivering against revenue and profitability targets
  • Manage relationships with Amazon agency partners, ensuring accountability and high-quality execution
  • Identify opportunities to improve traffic, conversion, profitability and organic visibility
  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends and category performance
  • Lead growth initiatives across both paid and organic channel performance
The Role Requires:
  • Ownership of Amazon advertising performance across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display and DSP
  • Budget management against ROAS, ACOS, TACOS, CAC and profitability targets
  • Development of keyword strategies, audience targeting and campaign optimisation plans alongside agency partners
  • Delivery of conversion rate optimisation initiatives and structured testing programmes
  • Ongoing analysis of channel performance, identifying growth opportunities and commercial risks
Amazon Retail Operations
The Senior Amazon Account Manager will:
  • Manage stock forecasting and demand planning alongside operations and finance teams
  • Monitor inventory health, availability and retail readiness
  • Support new product launches and catalogue onboarding activities
  • Identify and mitigate stock-related risks before they impact performance
  • Monitor pricing, promotions and Buy Box performance
The role requires:
  • Ownership of Amazon catalogue accuracy and optimisation
  • Continuous improvement of titles, bullets, imagery, A+ Content and Brand Store assets
  • Resolution of suppressed listings, catalogue issues and variation errors
  • Amazon SEO and keyword optimisation to improve discoverability
  • Monitoring reviews and customer feedback to uncover opportunities for improvement
The Senior Amazon Account Manager will demonstrate:
  • Great experience managing and growing Amazon businesses - using Amazon Seller Central in the UK market as a minimum.
  • Strong Amazon PPC experience across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display
  • Experience managing Amazon Seller Central accounts
  • Proven experience owning channel performance across advertising, operations and catalogue management
  • Strong analytical and commercial skills with experience managing budgets and profitability
The role requires:
  • Experience operating within regulated or compliance-led product categories
  • Experience managing agency relationships and performance
  • Hands-on experience with conversion rate optimisation and A/B testing
  • Strong understanding of forecasting, inventory planning and retail operations
  • Exposure to Google Ads, Meta Ads or broader digital marketing channels
  • Someone Immediately Available, although if someone wants to leave a role for a 12 month (minimum contract) we'd be more than happy to explore this as well.
The Senior Amazon Account Manager will benefit from:
  • Ownership of a significant seven-figure Amazon business
  • Opportunity to make a measurable impact within a growing consumer brand
  • Hybrid working with flexibility across London and Brighton locations
  • Significant autonomy and responsibility
  • Exposure to senior leadership and strategic decision-making
  • Opportunity to lead channel growth initiatives from day one
  • Potential for contract extension beyond the initial 12-month term
  • Supportive and collaborative working environment

This opportunity would suit an experienced Senior Amazon Account Manager, Amazon Marketplace Manager, Amazon National Account Manager, Amazon Channel Manager or Ecommerce Manager looking for a highly autonomous role within a growing consumer brand. The successful Senior Amazon Account Manager will combine strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking and hands‑on Amazon expertise to drive the next phase of channel growth.
