Job summary

SUEZ is seeking an experienced air quality consultant to lead and deliver a wide range of air quality and odour projects. You will coordinate data collection, modelling, and reporting while liaising with clients and internal teams across the UK and Ireland.

The role is full-time with hybrid working and flexible location within the UK, with travel to sites as required. A driving licence and passport are essential for field activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
• 4+ years’ experience managing complex air quality projects.
• Knowledge of UK air quality policy and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with indoor and outdoor air quality monitoring and sampling equipment.
• Experience in data processing, interpretation, and reporting of emissions and ambient air quality results.
• Proficiency in atmospheric dispersion modelling and impact assessment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, client-facing.
• Willingness to travel and hold a UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing air quality and odour projects across industrial sites.
• Developing measurement strategies and RAMS with support from the Operations Manager.
• Liaising with clients, site operators, and consultants to ensure delivery.
• Processing and reporting emissions and ambient data.
• Undertaking atmospheric dispersion modelling and impact assessments.
• Carrying out on‑site surveys, equipment calibration and maintenance.
• Supporting odour control, ventilation assessments, and exposure surveys.
• Traveling within the UK and Ireland, with occasional international travel.
