Job summary

Elsevier is seeking a Strategic Engagement Manager to drive growth in AI-enabled research/workspace solutions. You will engage senior stakeholders, shape strategic conversations and manage high-value opportunities across academia, government and enterprise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of success in AI-enabled enterprise software, SaaS or research technology sales.
• Proven ability to identify, develop and close complex, high-value opportunities.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate AI capabilities into customer value.
• Experience selling to academia, government or large enterprises is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Originate, develop, advance and close strategic AI research workspace opportunities with full sales ownership.
• Expand stakeholder networks and secure executive sponsorship across accounts.
• Support renewals and drive long-term growth through value-driven engagements.
• Lead workshops to demonstrate impact and tailor value expansion to customer needs.
• Engage senior decision-makers and manage multi-stakeholder, long-cycle deals.
