Job summary

Sophos in Canada is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own end-to-end product development for our AI security team. You’ll build and ship AI-powered products across frontend, backend, and APIs with high autonomy and minimal specs.

You will work on LLM-driven workflows, leverage AI tooling, and continuously improve systems and developer workflows. 4+ years of engineering across frontend and backend; remote-first with potential hybrid needs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of engineering experience across frontend + backend.
• Experience with AI-powered development (LLMs, agents, automation).
• Ability to work with minimal PM/design dependency.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product development—from idea to production.
• Build and ship AI-powered security products across frontend, backend, and APIs.
• Develop scalable interfaces and systems for real user workflows.
