The role requires 4+ years in backend or distributed systems, experience shipping production-grade software, and a strong grounding in modern programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve core systems that review safety detections and surfaced events.
• Improve detection precision by smartly identifying ambiguous cases and automating triage.
• Work at the intersection of backend, data, and AI-driven decisioning.
• Collaborate with product, design, AI/ML infra to feed model feedback loops.
• Own complex projects end-to-end from design through production rollout.
• Raise the bar for quality, operability, and engineering clarity across Safety platform.
