Wave Works is seeking a Senior AI Product Manager to shape its flagship AI product, an agentic, conversational AI. You will own the problem space, build the roadmap, and drive outcomes with customers and engineering teams in a mainly remote UK-based role.

You will ship AI products at scale, run in-production evals, and define how success is measured. Ideal candidates are growth-minded, self-starters with strong prioritisation and a proven track record in enterprise contexts.

Senior AI Product Manager | Initial 6-Month Contract | Outside IR35 - Market Rate | Mainly Remote Working | IMMEDIATE START - UK Based Only

A fast-growing B2B data platform company is hiring a Senior Product Manager to shape its flagship AI product: an agentic, conversational AI. This is a chance to define where an AI product goes next, working on real enterprise scope and complexity.

The role

You’ll own the problem space, not just a backlog. We want someone who arrives with a point of view: someone who finds the right problems, builds the roadmap, and drives it forward without waiting to be handed a project. You’ll talk to customers, put numbers on the opportunities, prioritise hard and iterate quickly.

What you’ll do

• Find and frame the highest-value problems for enterprise users of an AI-native product.
• Own and drive the product roadmap, from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Talk to customers regularly and turn what you learn into prioritised, measurable bets.
• Shape how the product is evaluated in production: eval design, quality bars and feedback loops.
• Work with engineering on agentic orchestration and harness design.
• Set out how the product stands apart from foundation-model providers and general-purpose AI assistants.
• Raise the bar on the conversational UX, so complex data work feels intuitive.

What we’re looking for

• Senior product management experience, with a growth-oriented, outcome-driven mindset
• A track record of shipping AI products at scale to real users, through at least one full iteration cycle
• Hands-on experience with evals in production, not only in side projects
• A strong grasp of agentic orchestration and conversational AI
• Clear, well-reasoned opinions on product differentiation in a market shaped by frontier labs, and on harness design
• Experience on user-facing products, ideally B2B enterprise, though strong B2C AI product experience will also be considered
• Experience of “what good looks like” at scale: enterprise users, real scope and real complexity
• Meaningful tenure in previous roles, with shipped outcomes to show for it
• A self-starter who identifies problems and builds their own roadmap
• Ideally immediately available - max 2 weeks' notice

Nice to have

• A UX or design-led product background, especially in conversational interfaces
• An ML background from the last 4-5 years, paired with real enthusiasm for the current wave of AI
• Experience with data tooling, data engineering or developer platforms
