Job summary

GSK is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to lead the design and delivery of a major AI product area, spanning modelling workflows and user-facing applications. You will set standards for APIs, AI integration, interfaces and observability, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.

In this role you will design agentic research systems, define patterns for agent-generated work, and shape frontend architecture, API layers and platform tooling to reduce integration costs and accelerate product

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/Data Science/Statistics or related field.
8+ years in applied ML/data science and full-stack engineering with AI product delivery.
Expertise across AI product stack: modelling, frontend, backend, cloud.
Experience designing API layers with integration contracts.
Experience AI orchestration at production scale: LLM integration, retrieval, tool use, agent frameworks, evaluation, cost, latency and quality trade-offs.
Experience leading frontend architecture and LLMOps for a product area.

Responsibilities

Set technical direction for the product area and modelling pipelines.
Design agentic research systems for experiments and production monitoring.
Partner with product, design and research to shape what gets built and communicate trade-offs.
Define patterns for agent-generated work within EAI's operating model and safe AI-assisted development patterns.
Lead API layer design across the product area and guide backend architecture decisions.
Lead frontend architecture and LLMOps including evaluation pipelines and monitoring.
Lead the creation of shared infrastructure and tooling to reduce integration costs across teams.
