Job summary

Napier Technologies Limited is seeking a Solution Architect in London to bridge clients, Sales, and delivery within Professional Services. You will own solution design and architecture from discovery through implementation, ensuring robust, scalable, secure outcomes while de-risking deals and maintaining architectural integrity post-signing.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial crime, compliance, or AML domains.
• Strong background in cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and secure deployment.
• Broad experience across business, data, software and technology architecture.
• Expertise in API-based integration, ETL, data transformation, and orchestration technologies (NiFi, Kafka, API gateways, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of data formats and transport protocols.
• Familiarity with information security best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Client Solutioning: Rapidly understand client environments and tailor designs to audiences.
• Integration Leadership: Architect end-to-end solutions focusing on data integration and orchestration.
• Technical Pre-sales: Support discovery, de-risking, RFPs and lead proof of concepts as needed.
• Deliery Architecture Ownership: Own end-to-end design and governance through delivery.
• Standardisation & Reuse: Drive repeatable patterns to reduce bespoke delivery.
• Data & Architecture: Map data flows, formats, and transports; address async/sync and retries.
• Security & Compliance: Explain security controls and ensure regulatory alignment (GDPR).
• Documentation & Enablement: Produce technical documentation and mentor teams.
