Burberry is hiring a Senior Developer, AI & Emerging Tech to evolve its shared agentic AI platform, including orchestration, observability and model evaluation frameworks. You will shape the platform strategy across IT, ensure scalability and security, and establish engineering practices and documentation from the ground up.

You'll lead design and implementation of enterprise-scale agent services, collaborate with architects to align with standards, and drive knowledge transfer across domain

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building and operating agentic AI systems.
• Proficiency with Python and modern software engineering practices.
• Hands-on with LLM and agent development frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI).
• Knowledge of RAG patterns, vector DBs and embeddings.
• API design and integration (REST, event-driven, workflows).
• CI/CD, testing and IaC; containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsabilités

• Design, build and maintain shared agentic platform services used by domain and platform teams.
• Own agent platform engineering: orchestration, registration, monitoring and governance.
• Develop and maintain prompt engineering patterns and model evaluation frameworks.
• Collaborate with architects to align platform with enterprise standards and reference architecture.
• Ensure integration with enterprise tools and data platforms with governed data access.
• Define and enforce platform SLOs for agentic layer and throughput.
• Evaluate emerging agentic AI tooling and conduct proof-of-concept validations.
