Job summary

KPMG UK is seeking a Senior Programme Manager within the Audit Technology Innovation & Deployment team to orchestrate complex AI/ML initiatives. You will govern cross-functional delivery, engage senior stakeholders, and oversee budgets and risk across the product lifecycle.

Ideal candidates will have extensive programme management experience in AI/ML or data-science projects within regulated contexts and strong leadership, communication, and governance capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field; programme management certifications required (PMP, MSP, Agile)
• Experience leading AI/ML, data science or software development initiatives in regulated environments
• Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and communication skills; risk and governance experience

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of technology portfolios; align milestones with business strategy and regulatory standards
• Coordinate cross-functional teams in the UK and internationally including product, engineering and data science
• Establish programme governance; track KPIs on timeline, risk posture, adoption, quality and ethics
• Engage senior stakeholders across audit, risk and IT to maintain visibility and address concerns
• Champion agile delivery, value-stream thinking and continuous learning across AI/ML workstreams
• Maintain portfolio budgets and ensure timely reporting to leadership
• Identify opportunities to scale and standardise deployment across audit domains
• Embed responsible AI practices including fairness, explainability and data governance into delivery processes
