Job summary

Radiant is hiring a Lead Infrastructure Product Engineer to shape Radiant’s cloud platform at the intersection of product and platform engineering. You will work across compute, storage, networking, Kubernetes, APIs, automation and identity, partnering with product, SRE, security and customers.

This senior, hands-on role focuses on turning complex infrastructure into reliable, scalable platform products and leading architecture decisions across teams.

Qualifications

• Strong software and infrastructure engineering experience across cloud platforms or distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of cloud infra: compute, storage, networking, Kubernetes, containers.
• Platform engineering: provisioning, orchestration, IAM, observability, automation.
• Developer tooling: APIs, SDKs, CLIs, web consoles.
• Experience building backend services, APIs, integrations, and infra automation.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, Linux, cloud networking, observability tooling, and IaC.
• Comfortable working from ambiguous requirements through architecture to production.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of platform infrastructure capabilities, APIs, workflows, and developer tooling.
• Translate customer and business needs into technical product solutions.
• Prototype capabilities across compute, storage, networking, Kubernetes, identity, and platform services.
• Define patterns for APIs, automation, provisioning, lifecycle management, and service integration.
• Improve self-service, reliability, observability, and developer experience.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to validate solutions.
• Support product discovery through prototypes, spikes, benchmarks, and PoCs.
• Provide technical leadership on architecture and implementation, balancing speed, scalability, reliability, and complexity.
• Take concepts from prototype to production-quality services.
