Accenture PLC in Greater London seeks a Principal AI Infrastructure Architect to lead compute infrastructure for large-scale AI/ML systems. You will set the technical direction, own critical architecture decisions, and prototype cost-optimized training systems and reference implementations.

Leverage deep hyperscaler expertise, drive performance, and mentor the architect community while aligning with business SLAs and cost controls. A senior, strategic role with broad influence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related engineering field.
• Significant experience in coding, building, monitoring, and troubleshooting AI/ML deployments.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and computing infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.
• Experience with data pipelines and workflow tools (Airflow, Kubeflow).
• Proven leadership and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Extensive experience on hyperscaler platforms with large‑scale AI workloads.

Responsabilités

• Set the overarching technical vision for AI compute infrastructure across large-scale systems.
• Own complex architecture decisions spanning compute, networking, storage, orchestration, and model serving.
• Architect and prototype cost-optimized training systems and reference implementations.
• Define standards and patterns; implement tooling and infrastructure-as-code.
• Lead architecture reviews, validate findings in real environments, and optimize workloads.
• Shape the AI infra roadmap aligned with business goals and capacity planning.
• Pilot emerging technologies and assess their applicability in real solutions.
• Drive performance and cost optimization to meet SLAs and budgets.
• Provide executive‑level technical advisory and clear recommendations.
