Infiterra Holding Ltd. is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, build and operate production AI systems across LLM-based workflows, retrieval, agents and model adaptation. This fully remote role is based in the UK or Greece, with periodic in-person collaboration.

You will translate business problems into measurable AI/system behavior, work with cross-functional teams, and ensure reliability, observability and cost goals while advancing AI-enabled product capabilities.

Qualifications

• AI systems: Experience delivering production AI systems, model APIs, structured outputs, retrieval/RAG, agentive workflows and fine-tuning.
• Evaluation: Designing behavioural, groundedness, robustness and regression evaluations including monitoring and feedback loops.
• Engineering: Strong software engineering background, Python, distributed systems, APIs, CI/CD, containers/cloud.
• Production: Observability, troubleshooting, reliability, latency and cost awareness in production.
• Business/domain: Translate complex workflows and rules into reliable system behavior.
• Ownership: Capable of taking problems from discovery to production and improvement.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Own the design, implementation, evaluation and production operation of complex AI systems with multiple components or workflows.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into measurable AI/system behavior.
• Select AI approaches based on evidence and evaluation results.
• Build production systems using model APIs, retrieval/RAG, agent-based workflows and predictive techniques.
• Design evaluation strategies covering functional behaviour, groundedness and robustness.
• Establish production monitoring and feedback loops with logs, metrics and traces.
• Engineer for reliability, testability, observability and cost in production.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers and share reusable patterns.
