Job summary

9fin is building world-class AI for debt markets and seeks a Senior AI Engineer to scale AI across products. You will design generative AI apps for complex workflows, lead model development, and collaborate with researchers and engineers in a fast-paced, impact-driven environment.

You will work on end-to-end model lifecycles, from experimentation to deployment, using state-of-the-art techniques, learning across teams, and helping 9fin push the adoption of AI throughout the company.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python for production ready delivery.
• Deep understanding of the GenAI landscape and agentic frameworks.
• Hands-on professional experience in NLP, Information Retrieval stacks, LLMs.
• Experience working in the full model lifecycle (experimentation, training, testing, monitoring, deployment).
• Good knowledge of AWS AI infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and build generative AI applications tailored to financial and legal workflows.
• Drive end-to-end model development lifecycle with reproducible research and managed deployment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to share ideas and mentor teammates.
• Translate complex problems into scoped bets in a fast-paced internal start-up style environment.
• Learn and apply cutting-edge research and approaches with a fail-fast mentality.
• Lead adoption of AI throughout the organization.
