SII UK is seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer to join a growing team delivering AI-powered validation and automation for connected products and digital services.

You will design intelligent validation frameworks, build agent-based automation using MCP, and integrate foundation models with cloud platforms. The role involves API design, scalable architectures, and collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience in a technical discipline.
• Commercial Python software development experience.
• Hands-on production software development experience.
• Exposure to Generative AI, ML, LLMs or AI-powered apps.
• Experience with cloud platforms and modern software practices.
• API/web service or microservice development experience.
• Familiarity with AI model integration, evaluation and automation workflows preferred.
• Experience in agile software development.

Responsabilités

• Design and maintain AI-powered validation and automation frameworks using Python.
• Build intelligent agents and automation workflows using MCP concepts.
• Integrate foundation models via cloud AI platforms and services.
• Develop prompt engineering strategies, evaluation frameworks and AI guardrails.
• Create data management and validation pipelines for AI/ML systems.
• Design scalable APIs, web services, microservices and SDKs.
• Apply software engineering best practices and conduct code reviews.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams through the software lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot performance, reliability and automation efficacy.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and continuous improvement.
• Mentor teammates and promote knowledge sharing.
