Job summary

Willis Towers Watson’s Willis Neuron Technology team in the UK is seeking an experienced engineer to drive AI-enabled software delivery at scale. You will design and productionise AI features, oversee guardrails and security, and guide AI coding assistants within Azure-based platforms and DevOps practices.

You will prototype rapidly, deliver web-based applications, and mentor others while collaborating with stakeholders across finance services.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AI and agentic technologies including LLMs, RAG and prompt engineering.
• Practical use of AI coding assistants and agentic development tools in professional delivery.
• Strong software engineering experience (10+ years) with React/Angular, TypeScript, C#/NET and Python.
• Azure cloud experience, and using GitHub and Azure DevOps across the SDLC in Agile delivery.
• Proven ability to rapidly prototype and validate ideas, from whiteboard to working demo in days.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring and influencing through hands-on contributions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and productionise AI-enabled features using LLMs, RAG and agent frameworks.
• Own evaluation, guardrails, observability, security and cost management of AI solutions.
• Prototype ideas quickly and turn concepts into working software at pace.
• Deliver web-based applications, integrating AI with C#/.NET, React/Angular and Python on Azure.
• Direct AI coding assistants and review AI-generated code against standards.
• Drive adoption of AI agent-led delivery across the team and mentor others.
