Job summary

LexisNexis Intellectual Property Solutions is seeking a driven AI Platform Engineer to help research, design and deliver AI capabilities behind our analytics products. You will work across the full development lifecycle in a cloud-native environment, building scalable services with Python and AWS.

You will mentor peers, contribute to architectural decisions and collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to advance our AI-powered IP tools.

Qualifications

• Experience with modern Python codebases and cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of AI/ML, generative AI and agentic AI systems.
• Understanding of software engineering principles and delivery processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively and present to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies for customer-facing features.
• Design and build agentic AI systems and AI-powered product capabilities.
• Develop reusable frameworks for evaluating AI quality, safety and performance.
• Build scalable, high-performance and cost-efficient services.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews and Scrum ceremonies.
