Job description

We are working with a leading international Law firm seeking an experienced AI Enablement & Change Lead to drive the adoption of AI and emerging technologies across its legal teams.

This is a high-profile opportunity to shape how legal professionals use technology, moving beyond implementation to embed new tools into everyday workflows and deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, capability and service delivery.

Working closely with senior technology and innovation stakeholders, you will lead regional enablement initiatives, build strong relationships with legal professionals and develop practical strategies that encourage confident, responsible and sustained technology adoption.

The role offers hybrid working, with attendance at the London office and occasional travel to European offices as required.

Key Responsibilities
AI Enablement & Training
  • Lead the development and delivery of AI enablement programmes for legal professionals.
  • Design practical training that demonstrates how AI and legal technology can support legal research, document drafting, document review, due diligence and wider legal workflows.
  • Develop training programmes, workshops, interactive learning sessions and adoption campaigns tailored to different audiences.
  • Create reusable learning materials, practical examples and guidance to support consistent adoption across international teams.
  • Promote the responsible and effective use of AI and emerging technologies.
Change Management & Adoption
  • Lead change management initiatives that embed new technologies into day-to-day working practices.
  • Develop change strategies, communications and engagement plans that address resistance and encourage sustained adoption.
  • Create accessible resources, including user guides, FAQs, newsletters and video tutorials.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand barriers to adoption and implement targeted solutions.
  • Encourage a culture of innovation, experimentation and continuous learning.
  • Support opportunities to explore new applications of AI and technology to improve legal service delivery.
Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership
  • Take ownership of AI enablement initiatives across the London office, working autonomously while aligning with wider organisational priorities.
  • Build trusted relationships with partners, lawyers, practice managers and senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with teams across technology, legal operations, professional development and training to deliver joined-up adoption strategies.
  • Monitor developments in AI and legal technology to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Analyse adoption metrics and usage data to assess programme effectiveness, identify capability gaps and inform future initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress, engagement, risks and opportunities.
  • Deliver tailored training and guidance through both individual sessions and larger group workshops.
  • Travel to other European offices when required.
Person Specification
  • Typically 7+ years' experience in legal technology, innovation, technology enablement or change management, ideally within a law firm, professional services or another knowledge-driven environment.
  • Proven experience leading technology adoption and change initiatives, with demonstrable results.
  • A strong understanding of legal workflows and how technology can improve the delivery of legal services.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and legal technology platforms, particularly generative AI and applications supporting drafting, research, document review and knowledge management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage audiences at all levels.
  • Experience developing and delivering training programmes, workshops and change communications.
  • Confidence using adoption metrics and analytics to measure impact and guide decision-making.
  • Strong communication, facilitation and programme management skills.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams.
The Opportunity Offers
  • The opportunity to shape AI adoption within a leading international organisation.
  • A senior, high-visibility role with access to key decision-makers.
  • The chance to influence how legal professionals work with emerging technologies.
  • Hybrid working arrangements based in London.
  • Exposure to international collaboration and wider technology transformation initiatives.
