Method Resourcing Ltd in the UK is seeking a Senior AI Automation Engineer to design and deliver production‑grade AI applications, intelligent agents and automated workflows within a large, governed enterprise.

You will work across Microsoft Copilot, Python, Power Platform and Azure, merging software engineering with AI and workflow automation to move projects from proof‑of‑concept to production deployments.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial Python engineering experience, including APIs, testing, modular architecture and asynchronous processing.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Copilot / Copilot Studio.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform and workflow automation.
• Experience building and deploying production AI/LLM applications, agents or AI-powered workflows.
• Experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI / AI Foundry or comparable AI platforms.
• Understanding of agentic AI patterns, orchestration, tool use, prompt design and LLM limitations.
• Strong API and systems integration experience, including REST and/or GraphQL.
• Experience designing reusable services, connectors and integration components.
• Microsoft Azure experience across services such as Functions, containers and AI services.
• Strong CI/CD, Git and automated testing experience.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or Azure Container Apps.
• An understanding of production monitoring, reliability and observability.

Responsabilités

• Designing and building AI agents and multi-step automated workflows.
• Developing production-grade Python services, APIs and automation pipelines.
• Building solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform.
• Orchestrating workflows across Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry and internal enterprise systems.
• Integrating AI applications with existing platforms through REST/GraphQL APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Developing reusable connectors, tools, services and agent capabilities.
• Designing agent orchestration, tool-use and integration patterns.
• Building CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Deploying and monitoring AI applications in production.
• Ensuring solutions are scalable, observable, secure and maintainable.
• Leading technical design discussions and code reviews.
• Helping establish engineering standards and supporting the development of more junior engineers.
