Becrypt is hiring a Principal Architect – AI to lead Becrypt's approach to artificial intelligence across engineering, product, IT and operations. This hands-on IC role requires deep technical depth, leadership by influence, and the ability to set policies, risk frameworks and compliance guardrails for responsible AI adoption.

You will design, build and govern AI-enabled platforms and gateways, with Docker-based services, Linux, Python, FastAPI, TypeScript, MCP/FastMCP, OpenAI APIs and AWS

Qualifications

• Design, build, secure and operate complex software platforms and Linux-based systems.
• Hands-on experience with containerised environments and modern AI tooling.
• Architect AI infrastructure including gateways and agentic workflows.
• Proven enterprise or platform architecture experience in security‑conscious environments.
• Demonstrated policy-based authorisation and secure boundaries for sensitive systems.
• Senior individual contributor who influences across engineering, product and security.

Responsabilités

• Identify where AI adds genuine value across engineering, product and operations.
• Serve as the technical authority on AI across the organisation.
• Develop policy, governance, risk assessment and compliance frameworks.
• Advise leadership on AI strategy and risk posture in plain terms.
• Design and build AI platforms, gateways and supporting infrastructure.
• Create Docker-based services using Linux, Python, FastAPI, TypeScript, and AWS Bedrock.
• Enforce credential controls and secure human-in-the-loop operation for AI systems.
• Evaluate AI tech for security, isolation and maintainability before adoption.
• Collaborate with engineers to diagnose issues and improve architecture.
• Probe AI systems for vulnerabilities and feed findings back to design and policy.
