Job summary

Profitero+ is seeking a Senior AI Agent Engineer to lead the design, development and production deployment of agentic AI workflows. You will work with Claude, GPT-4, Gemini and related frameworks to build scalable AI products and internal tools.

You will architect and implement retrieval-augmented generation, vector embeddings and tool integrations, while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with product, design and other teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, Engineering, AI, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional software/AI development experience.
• Proficiency in Python and AI/ML libraries.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs (Claude, OpenAI GPT-4, Gemini).
• Experience building agentic applications or workflows (planning, memory, tool use).
• Familiarity with AI workflow orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, Crew AI, Haystack).
• Experience with REST APIs and external integrations.
• Good practices: Git, testing, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy LLM-based systems and agentic applications and workflows.
• Operate, deploy, and optimize AI systems in production including performance tuning and cost optimization.
• Design and build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems with embeddings and vector databases.
• Develop prompts and interaction strategies for effective LLM behavior in agentic contexts.
• Integrate tools, APIs, and data sources, including MCP Servers, to enhance context and tooling.
• Write robust, scalable Python code for backend and integrations.
• Implement testing, monitoring, and evaluation for reliability and safety.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements.
