Qualifications

• The role involves providing a range of therapeutic interventions, treatments and exercise programmes to patients.
• Discharge planning and prevention of falls are part of the role.
• Inpatient Trauma & Orthopaedic Therapy team involvement within Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
• Caseload includes patients recovering from traumatic injury and orthopaedic surgery.

Responsibilities

• Identify and support the physical limitations of a patient’s disability to assist the therapy team.
• Develop strong links with multidisciplinary teams in acute and community settings.
• Support both Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy on a daily basis.
