Job summary

FIS is seeking an experienced Securities Processing Product Owner to drive the back-office platform in an Agile environment. You will work with the Scrum team to deliver the product vision, manage backlogs, and coordinate with stakeholders across regions.

The role requires deep knowledge of securities industry flows, SWIFT messaging, and market infrastructures, with a track record of delivering regulatory-driven enhancements and product improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in financial services, as a product owner, preferably in back-office securities operations or related Fintech.
• Proven knowledge of European and North American market infrastructures for securities processing back-office functions (e.g., Euroclear, CREST, SIX SIS, Clearstream, DTC).
• Demonstrated understanding of securities industry flows in equities and fixed income, esp. SWIFT messaging.
• Experience with Agile methodology.

Responsibilities

• Execute product vision as defined by the Securities Processing Group & Product Management.
• Collaborate with Product Management and development teams through the SDLC to ensure success of initiatives.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog in coordination with the Scrum Master and Product Manager.
• Provide updates on product roadmap and regulatory initiatives.
• Contribute to testing and managing products through launches and releases.
