Job summary

FIS is seeking a Product Manager for Payments to own the vision, roadmap and outcomes for a live Tier-1 bank payments program. You will drive end-to-end ownership from discovery to production adoption, partnering with engineering and business teams across UK and US rails, ISO 20022, and settlement models.

This role requires hands-on payments expertise, an engineering foundation, and the ability to translate complex rules into reusable payment primitives, while aligning with risk and compliance

Qualifications

• Deep, hands-on expertise in UK or US payment rails and ISO 20022 experience.
• Engineering foundation and end-to-end product ownership.
• Ability to define APIs, events, data models and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-year Payments strategy and roadmap across UK/US requirements.
• Own the scheme calendar and productize non-discretionary changes.
• Collaborate with clients to define what to build and ensure reusable capabilities.
• Write PRDs and decision documents; own payment APIs and state models.
