Job summary

Maxwell Bond is seeking an experienced Senior Agile Delivery Manager in Lancashire, with hybrid work flexibility (2 days on-site). The role focuses on complex, high-risk digital services and responsible delivery across multiple teams and senior stakeholders.

The successful candidate will apply Agile and Lean approaches, coaching teams to improve maturity and alignment with business goals, while navigating dependencies and governance forums.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex, high-risk digital services using Agile.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage dependencies.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in delivery environments.
• Clear communication of technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps or ServiceNow is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Owning delivery plans, risks, issues, dependencies and assurance across multiple workstreams.
• Working with multidisciplinary teams to remove blockers and keep delivery moving.
• Using Agile and Lean approaches such as Scrum, Kanban or hybrid models.
• Coaching teams and senior stakeholders to improve Agile maturity and ways of working.
• Working closely with Product, Architecture, Security, Operations and wider business teams.
• Managing senior stakeholders and presenting delivery updates through governance and strategic forums.
• Having the confidence to challenge around scope, risks and deadlines when needed.
• Turning complex technical delivery issues into clear, straightforward information for non-technical stakeholders.
• Providing leadership and line management to delivery practitioners and analysts.
• Helping shape Communities of Practice and improve delivery standards across the wider organisation.
