Job summary

Sizewell C Company is recruiting a Senior Agent - Delivery / Enabling and Earthworks for the Suffolk site. You will oversee day-to-day site operations within the TCA zones, ensuring works meet specifications, quality standards and programme requirements.

The role emphasizes health & safety compliance, RAMS and toolbox talks, welfare, and close coordination with construction, logistics, engineering, subcontractors and suppliers to align site-wide logistics and access planning.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• CSCS card (relevant level).
• SMSTS or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee day-to-day activities within assigned TCA zones, ensuring works meet specifications, quality standards and programme requirements.
• Promote a strong safety culture, conduct RAMS and toolbox talks, and ensure welfare provisions for personnel on site.
• Interface with internal teams and external stakeholders; coordinate subcontractors and suppliers; support planning and reporting on progress and risks.
• Maintain site records, permits, inspections and compliance documentation; track performance and report delays or risks to management.

Education

Senior Agent - Delivery / Enabling and Earthworks - Sizewell C - Suffolk Site based Opportunity with the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), Supporting Sizewell C

As part of the CWA (Civil Works Alliance), you will support the building of Sizewell C. Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and will play a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years. This role will be within the Enabling and Earthwork Section.

What will you do?

Operational Delivery

• Manage and oversee day-to-day activities within assigned TCA zones.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and programme requirements.
• Coordinate site operations, including logistics, access, and sequencing of works.
• Monitor progress against programme and report any delays or risks.

Health, Safety & Wellbeing

• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture aligned with SZC and CWA standards.
• Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with HSE regulations and site procedures.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments (RAMS), and briefings (toolbox talks).
• Ensure welfare considerations for all personnel working within the TCA.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Interface with internal teams (construction, logistics, engineering) and external stakeholders.
• Ensure coordination with subcontractors and suppliers working within the TCA.
• Support alignment with site-wide logistics and access planning requirements.

Planning & Reporting

• Support short- and medium-term planning of works within the TCA.
• Track and report performance, progress, and key risks to management.
• Maintain accurate site records, including permits, inspections, and compliance documentation.

What are we looking for?

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
• CSCS card (relevant level).
• SMSTS or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
