Job summary

ZeroAvia Inc is looking for a Senior Aerothermal Engineer in Kemble, England, to lead the aerothermal design and development of air delivery systems for hydrogen fuel cell powertrains. The ideal candidate has aerospace engineering experience, deep knowledge of air system architecture, turbomachinery, and thermo-fluid analysis.

This role involves taking full technical ownership from concept to certification, working across teams to validate systems for zero-emission propulsion. You’ll utilize CAD for designs and engage dynamically in problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Self-starter, diligent, results-focused and flexible.
• Experience with hydrogen fuel cell systems is advantageous.
• Knowledge of aviation certification processes (CAA, EASA, FAA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own all aspects of fuel cell cathode system development.
• Lead aerothermal concept generation and design substantiation.
• Analyse air delivery systems to define functional requirements.
• Proactively lead internal stakeholders on air delivery system development.
• Develop strategies for component level engineering evaluation testing.
