Job summary

ZeroAvia is seeking a Senior Procurement Technician to support sourcing, procurement and supplier management for hydrogen-electric propulsion systems. You will work with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and compliance with aerospace requirements.

The role focuses on supporting development, testing and production readiness in a fast-paced aerospace environment, with opportunities to drive improvements and optimise procurement processes.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years' experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain roles.
• Proven experience in aerospace, defence, automotive, advanced manufacturing or other highly regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities including purchase orders, supplier quotations, order tracking and expediting.
• Act as primary contact for assigned suppliers, monitor performance and support onboarding, development and risk management.
• Support procurement planning for prototype builds, testing, certification programmes and production readiness.
• Collaborate with Engineering to source technical products and services, interpreting drawings, specifications, BOMs and engineering change notices.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 and regulatory requirements by maintaining supplier documentation and traceability.
• Drive continuous improvement through supplier development, cost reduction, and process optimisation.
