L3Harris UK in Brighton is seeking a Systems Engineer (Safety) to support the development, integration and verification of aerospace systems. You will help define system requirements, architecture and interfaces across mechanical, electrical and software elements, ensuring safety is embedded throughout the lifecycle.

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, contribute to safety artefacts and hazard analyses, and participate in design reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex aerospace/defence systems.
• Proficient in systems engineering lifecycle management.
• Exposure to system safety engineering.
• Experience managing technical documentation and requirements.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

• Develop and manage system requirements with traceability across disciplines.
• Contribute to integration, verification and validation activities.
• Participate in design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR).
• Maintain engineering documentation and verification plans.
• Develop safety artefacts per aerospace standards.
• Perform hazard analyses (FHA, PHA, FMEA, FTA) and update Hazard Logs.
