Job summary

Cirrus Selection is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for Aerospace / RF Communications in Market Deeping. You will own system architectures, capture customer and regulatory requirements, and ensure clear flow-down into hardware and software for RF-enabled aviation systems used in critical environments.

This hands-on role covers the full development lifecycle, with influence over product direction, interfaces, verification and validation, and adherence to V-model processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace or high-integrity environments.
• Experience across full product lifecycle.
• Solid grounding in RF or radio technologies.
• Degree in Engineering or Physics (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Capture and structure high-level customer and regulatory requirements.
• Define and review system architectures and interfaces.
• Ensure clean requirement flow-down into hardware and software.
• Lead and support structured Verification & Validation activity.
• Drive best‑practice systems engineering aligned to the V-model.
• Influence product coherence, commonality and future roadmap decisions.
