Job summary

CesiumAstro seeks a Senior RF Engineer II to design RF circuits and systems for satellites and aerospace platforms. You will handle board-level schematic design and PCB routing, work across development phases, and contribute to proposals and customer reviews.

The role requires hands-on expertise with RF test equipment and experience with EMI/EMC considerations, in a startup-like environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 6+ years in RF electronics design, analysis, testing, troubleshooting.
• Experience with CST and ADS; Proficiency with Altium.
• Hands-on use of lab instruments: VNA, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design RF circuits and systems through all development phases.
• Perform board-level schematic capture and PCB layout for RF blocks.
• Understand link budgets, modulation schemes, and phased array concepts.
