Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in the United Kingdom (Yeovil) is seeking a Senior Program Manager to oversee the Oxygen Generation And Distribution System life cycle, from development to production and entry into service, for Air Supply and High-Density Cooling systems.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage scope, timelines, budgets and MOS, drive cost control, and deliver on time with quality, while mentoring staff and ensuring alignment with business goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years in engineering program management.
• Proven track record delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage programs for successful execution and delivery.
• Define scope, objectives and deliverables with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and implement project plans with timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Apply PM tools and processes: EVM, SOW, WBS, BOE, and cost management.
• Establish and own a MOS (Management Operating System).
• Review cost and schedule metrics with Program Control to optimize resources.
• Identify and mitigate risks before they impact delivery.
• Communicate program status to leadership at all levels.
• Ensure portfolio financial performance to plan.
• Enforce change control and risk management; support IPDS and On Time Launch.
• Baseline management and scope change control.
• Drive Free of Charge Hardware achievement.
• Mentor integrated program teams and onboard new PMs.
