Job summary
Safran Electrical & Power is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join the Systems Engineering team in Pitstone, Buckinghamshire. The role covers definition, design and development of control systems for high-speed rotating electrical machines, with a hybrid working pattern in a centre of excellence.
You will work within a flexible engineering environment on control system requirements, architectures, performance analysis, and system integration, while supporting test rigs,
Qualifications
- Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Define control system architecture and requirements with customer cooperation.
- Design control system architectures and assess performance.
- Manage system requirements and ensure compliance.
- Make technical decisions for control systems and interface with customers.
- Assist in test rig design and system testing.
- Prepare documentation for qualification and certification.
- Create project plans and execution plans to meet budget.
- Support business growth and respond to proposals.
