Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Romford, Essex, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer / CNC Programmer to own programming, process development and optimization for advanced aerospace components.

You will create and prove 3-, 4- and 5-axis CNC programmes, design setups and tooling, and drive first-time-right production while collaborating with Production, Quality and Engineering teams. Attractive salary £35,000 - £40,000 with benefits awaits.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC programming experience within precision engineering.
• Experience in 3-, 4- and 5-axis machining.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
• Hypermill experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create, optimise and prove 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC programmes.
• Develop manufacturing processes, routings and setup strategies.
• Design and implement work-holding and fixture solutions.
• Select tooling and optimise machining processes.
• Drive first-time-right production and reduce manufacturing inefficiencies.
• Support the introduction of new aerospace components into manufacture.
• Work closely with Production, Quality and Engineering teams.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
