Job summary

Frazer-Nash Consultancy is seeking a Senior Certification Consultant to lead aviation certification and safety assurance projects for UK defence aerospace clients. The role requires extensive platform certification experience and leadership of engineering teams.

The successful candidate will influence initial platform certification, airworthiness, and technical delivery while mentoring junior engineers within Frazer-Nash's multidisciplinary aerospace group.

Qualifications

• Strong aerospace engineering background with platform certification expertise.
• Experience leading engineering teams in defence or aerospace certification.
• chartered engineer status with RAeS/IMechE/IET and UK National Vetting clearance beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead initial platform certification and type airworthiness efforts.
• Deliver technical consultancy across defence aerospace projects.
• Develop project delivery portfolios and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with MoD and defence contractors on safety and airworthiness.
• Support in expanding civil aviation certification experience within Frazer-Nash.
