Job summary

LiveLink Aerospace is seeking a Senior Aerospace Engineer for our Havant facility. This role is a strategic, hands-on leadership position overseeing critical system architecture and technical direction.

You will own key technical pathways and mentor engineers across hardware and software disciplines. You will drive top-down design of platforms, ensure flawless integration, and act as the technical backstop for challenging problems, balancing performance, weight, safety, and operational

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Aerospace, Systems, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years of proven, high-level engineering experience in aerospace, defence, or robotics.
• Experience turning complex requirements into flight-proven systems and architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead top-down engineering design of new aerospace platforms and ensure integration across domains.
• Act as technical reviewer for design reviews (PDR/CDR) and sign off CAD, schematics, and test plans.
• Tackle complex challenges in aerodynamics, structural integrity, thermal management, and RF communication.
• Define rigorous test methodologies (HIL/SIL, environmental, flight) for safety and mission success.
• Define the technical roadmap with executive leadership and scale capabilities.
