LiveLink Aerospace in Havant seeks a Senior Aerospace Engineer to own strategic system architecture and technical leadership across hardware and software. You will guide a multidisciplinary team to deliver flight-proven architectures, balancing performance, weight, safety, and operational capability.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership beyond traditional management, with accountability for complex design reviews, rigorous testing, and a clear technical roadmap.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Aerospace, Systems, or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of high-level engineering experience in aerospace/defense/robotics.
• Proven ability to architect complex, flight-proven systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead top-down system-level architecture across mechanical, electrical, and software domains.
• Review critical designs (PDR/CDR) and approve CAD, schematics, and test plans.
• Solve advanced problems in aerodynamics, structures, thermal management, and RF.
• Define robust test methodologies (HIL/SIL, environmental, flight testing).
• Collaborate with exec team to shape the technical roadmap and scale capabilities.
