Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.

Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.
The new team has two locations: Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) and the Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland).
The Neuburg facility focuses on power unit development, while Hinwil handles chassis development and race operations.

The planned takeover by AUDI AG turns these into a factory team – and you can be part of it.

The position for the Audi F1 Project is at Sauber in Hinwil (Switzerland).

Your mission

1. Work within one of our development groups
2. Be involved in all aspects of aerodynamic development, including innovative concept definition, testing, and analysis of numerical and experimental simulations
3. Collaborate closely with aerodynamicists, CFD engineers, and model designers to enhance race car performance
4. Develop innovative thinking, tools, and processes
5. Suggest, investigate, and implement new methods to improve efficiency in aerodynamic design, testing, analysis, and reporting
6. Mentor less experienced aerodynamicists to enhance their skills

Your profile

• Experience and a proven track record as a (senior) aerodynamicist in Formula 1
• A strong educational background in aerodynamics, engineering degree with specialization in aerodynamics or fluid mechanics
• Proficiency in CFD and 3D CAD software (preferably CATIA V5/V6/3Dx)
• Deep understanding of CFD and wind tunnel testing, with experience in running wind tunnel programs
• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and attention to detail
• Ability to meet performance targets within strict deadlines
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Highly self-motivated, dedicated, creative, result-oriented, and capable of working independently, including additional hours as needed
• A team player with initiative and decision-making skills
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision and a strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn and share knowledge
• Full professional proficiency in English or German, with a willingness to learn basic skills in the other language
