Job summary

Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioners radiographer to lead and perform fluoroscopy and interventional procedures. The role covers PICC line insertion, barium swallows, HSGs and nephrostomy exchanges, with emphasis on clinical leadership and service coordination.

You will support and work with Fluoroscopy and IR Lead radiographers, contribute to a dynamic team, and participate in clinical rota requirements.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be willing to work towards a relevant postgraduate certification.
• Experience in fluoroscopy and interventional radiology is essential.
• Proven leadership and team coordination in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clinical skills and service provision within designated radiology specialties.
• Support the department in delivering high-quality clinical care.
• Provide training, advice, and support to staff within the service.
• Organise workload, staffing, and stock control to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Ensure operational standards are met and service delivery is progressive.
• Communicate effectively with site/modality leads and staff.
• Lead in development of clinical practice and standards, including policies and guidelines.
• Contribute to service development and participate in clinical audits.
