Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Yeovil invites an experienced Senior Advanced Project Engineer to join our site in Yeovil. You will manage complex aerospace projects, driving performance across ECS, Hydraulics, and Life Support Systems, from concept to commissioning.

You will lead project plans, coordinate design reviews, manage risks, and work with internal suppliers to ensure milestones, cost, quality, and schedule targets are met, while maintaining clear customer relationships and regulatory

Qualifications

  • Three years' PM experience in engineering/aerospace or safety-critical environments.
  • Delivery across full lifecycle from conception to commissioning.
  • Experience with suppliers and integrated supply chains in project lifecycles.

  • Create and monitor the progress of work packages for internal suppliers to support technical and schedule adherence.
  • Build internal and external customer relationships throughout projects to ensure completion
  • Ensuring that projects run within cost, quality, and time metrics
  • Management of requirements, including requirements validation and the appropriate allocation of requirements
  • Co-ordinate and Lead Design Reviews in accordance with HAY procedures
  • Manage project risks and mitigation plans.
Key Requirements and Skills

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, and motivated individual to join our site in Yeovil as a Sr Advanced Project Engineer. You will be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Aerospace. You will be working on complex aerospace engineering projects across a variety of remits including Environmental Control Systems (ECS), Hydraulics, and Life Support Systems (LSS)., HND/HNC/Degree in mechanical engineering/aerospace

Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • A minimum of three years' project management experience in an engineering, aerospace, safety-critical, or similarly regulated environment, with demonstrable delivery experience across the full product lifecycle from conception to commissioning
  • Previous experience of using Microsoft Project, or a similar project forecasting system
  • A strong understanding and experience of working with suppliers and integrated supply chains and how and where they fit in the project lifecycle
