Job summary

Wirral Council is seeking an experienced Interim Advanced Practitioner to join our Adult Social Care MASH Team on a 3-month fixed-term basis, with a view to extension or permanency. The role is based in Wirral with hybrid working.

You will oversee complex casework, quality assure assessments and support plans, chair safeguarding meetings, support Court of Protection work, and promote risk management and person-centred practice.

Qualifications

• Qualified and registered Social Worker with experience in Adult Social Care.
• Strong track record in complex case management and safeguarding.
• Ability to mentor staff and drive service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complex casework and quality assure assessments and support plans.
• Chair safeguarding meetings and support Court of Protection work.
• Promote risk management and person-centred practice.
• Mentor staff and collaborate with partner agencies to improve outcomes.
