Job summary

Siemens Energy in Worcester seeks a Project Engineer for Materials Solutions to define methods for additive manufacturing and support new product development. You will ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance while addressing daily production challenges.

You will work with engineering teams to develop processes, validate products, and lead root-cause investigations, APQP activities, and documentation of deviations. English required; SAP experience preferred.

Qualifications

Need to understand customer specifications and drawings.
Experience with APQP, FMEA, control plans is requested.
Experience with new product introduction and validation packages.

Responsibilities

Follow defined SOPs and processes to ensure quality.
Collaborate with technical and engineering teams on new product development.
Contribute to problem-solving for manufacturing issues and continuous improvement.
Support APQP activities including risk assessments and FMEA.
Provide engineering support for NPI projects and cross-functional sessions.
Create and maintain quality plans, part structures, and manufacturing instructions.
Lead root cause investigations and document lessons learned.
Maintain ownership of development, pre-serial, and serial products.
