Job Opportunity: Senior Addiction Nurse (Band 6)

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles, is offering two full-time, permanent positions of 37 hours per week.

The role involves working within the Glasgow Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service, which is dedicated to providing high-quality, integrated care for clients with drug and alcohol problems, along with physical and mental health issues. As a Band 6 Senior Addiction Nurse, you will:

  1. Assume a supervisory role with junior staff members.
  2. Work closely with Children and Families, Criminal Justice Services, and other agencies.
  3. Manage complex cases involving addiction and associated health issues.

Post-registration experience in an addiction setting at Band 5 is highly desirable. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated with excellent communication skills.
