Job Overview

There are 2 permanent, full-time positions of 37 hours per week. A First Level Registered Mental Health Nurse is essential. Post registration experience working within an addiction setting at Band 5 is highly desirable.

About the Role

We are seeking a Band 6 Senior Addiction Nurse within Glasgow Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service, committed to providing high-quality care using an integrated model of care delivery. The successful candidate will work as part of a large team dealing with complex clients with drug and alcohol problems and associated physical and mental health issues. You will assume a supervisory role with junior staff and collaborate closely with Children and Families and Criminal Justice Services.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Highly motivated with excellent communication skills
  • Essential: First Level Registered Mental Health Nurse
  • Desirable: Post registration experience in an addiction setting at Band 5
