About The Role

We seek a strategic and hands-on Ad Tech Architect to design, optimize, and scale our mobile Ad Tech stack. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in in-app monetization, programmatic advertising, and backend ad-serving technologies. As the technical authority, you will define architecture, ensure scalability, and drive revenue growth through innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the technical architecture for our mobile Ad Tech stack, ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance.
• Design and optimize ad-serving workflows for Flutter, Kotlin, and Swift apps, ensuring seamless integration with ad mediation and programmatic platforms.
• Lead technical decisions on ad integrations, header bidding, and ad rendering.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to align Ad Tech strategies with revenue goals.
• Implement and evaluate top-tier Ad Tech solutions, SDKs, DSPs, and SSPs.
• Ensure compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, ATT) and develop privacy-first strategies.
• Mentor engineers working on Ad Tech mobile integrations and backend services.
• Stay updated on Ad Tech innovations, including AI-driven ad optimization and contextual targeting.

Requirements

• 6+ years in software engineering with a focus on Ad Tech architecture, programmatic advertising, and mobile monetization.
• Strong knowledge of Flutter, Kotlin, and backend development.
• Experience with XP practices like paired programming, TDD, and CI.
• Hands-on experience with mobile ad SDKs (Google Ad Manager, MoPub, etc.).
• Deep expertise in ad mediation, RTB protocols, header bidding, and in-app bidding.
• Proven experience designing scalable ad-serving architectures.
• Understanding of real-time data processing, latency optimization, and high-throughput transactions.
• Experience with privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, ATT) and compliance strategies.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Firebase) for analytics and reporting.
• Ability to mentor teams and promote best practices in Ad Tech and mobile development.
• Experience or knowledge in media/entertainment or streaming services is advantageous.

• Experience with AI-driven ad personalization and revenue optimization.
• Knowledge of machine learning models for ad targeting and fraud detection.
• Familiarity with first-party data strategies and contextual advertising post-cookie.
