The Opportunity

You will lead and support a range of strategic transformation initiatives including:

• Transforming actuarial reporting processes using modern cloud-based and digital capabilities to improve efficiency, quality, and insight.
• Enhancing capital modelling frameworks and methodologies to strengthen risk measurement and support faster decision-making.
• Supporting the integration of actuarial insights into investment, pricing, and strategic business processes.
• Leading multidisciplinary project teams across actuarial, technology, finance, and risk functions.
• Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and contributing to strategic business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead actuarial transformation programmes from design through to implementation.
• Deliver commercially focused solutions that improve operational performance and business outcomes.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and development support to junior team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, technology, risk, and strategy.

Skills & Experience Required

• Qualified Actuary or qualified by experience
• Strong experience within the UK life insurance market
• Proven track record leading transformation or change programmes within actuarial or financial services settings.
• Strong understanding of commercial drivers and the ability to deliver measurable business benefits
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership capability with experience developing and mentoring teams.
