Job summary

Deloitte - Recruitment is seeking an experienced Actuarial SME to support a transformation programme for a large life and pensions business. You will translate actuarial processes into platform requirements and validate design against business, control, and operational expectations.

You will act as the specialist domain representative in workshops, supporting testing, controls, and business acceptance for the Foundation platform (Core Enablement).

Qualifications

• Strong background in actuarial processes, platform change, or business transformation within financial services.
• Experience translating business and non-functional needs into platform or solution requirements.
• Ability to assess process, data, and control impacts across complex environments.
• Experience supporting testing, business acceptance, and issue resolution.
• Confident acting as a subject-matter representative in design and governance forums.

The role will translate actuarial processes and non-functional needs into platform requirements, validate solution suitability, and ensure the proposed design meets business, control, and operational expectations.

The successful candidate will act as the specialist business domain representative in workshops and design forums, providing subject-matter decisions, reviewing process and data impacts, and supporting testing, controls, and business acceptance for the Foundation platform (Core Enablement).
