Job summary

M&G plc in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled risk and controls leader within Actuarial Modelling & Valuations. You will drive risk governance, coordinate assessments, and partner with Financial Controls, Model Validation and Audit to close findings with evidence and proportionate action.

Qualifications

• Experience in Risk Management, Governance, Model Risk or Audit within regulated financial services.
• Ability to explain complex matters clearly to senior audiences and committees.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Risk & Controls activities across Actuarial Modelling & Valuations with clear priorities and ownership.
• Manage regulatory, audit and governance commitments with concrete remediation plans.
• Maintain and enhance proportionate risk frameworks, policies and governance arrangements.
• Coordinate and challenge Risk & Control Self-Assessments, issues and remediation with timely closure evidence.
• Collaborate with Financial Controls, Model Validation, Audit and other reviewers to close findings and drive improvements.
